- Watching my little guy learn new things
- When he gently touches my face and hair
- Watching him get excited when he sees kids and babies
- Feeding him new foods and watching him taste something simple like carrots for the first time
- Being the one who can sooth him by holding him, rubbing his cheek, or singing to him
- Listening to him laugh and giggle when we play with him
- Knowing I can keep him forever. He's family.
- Experiencing the difficulties of motherhood and learning that I can do hard things
- Joining the parenting club
- Getting my baby from his bed in the morning and seeing his sweet smile that starts my day off right
